SO WHAT THE $#@& IS THIS POPCOMIGANZA THING YOU SPEAK OF?
Simple! Popcomiganza is a one day comic and fanshow I put together in my own home stomping grounds of Calvert County in 201 6. Its me trying to put on one of those comicon things I heard about on the TV and the webernets. Its small, compact and easy to handle. Something I can get my hands around and strangle with only the tender loving care I can deliver! In all seriousness, My name is Dan Nokes. Im the founder and creative director of 21st Century Sandshark Studios. A small press one man publishing operation that has been in business since 2002. Ive been going to comic and pop culture shows since the late 80's, Ive been exhibiting at them as a pro since 2002, and working for the Virginia Comicon since 2010 as their small press and vendor liasion. Its been a bucket list pipe dream of mine to run my own show since I was 13. Figure it was time to give it a shot and put my money where my mouth is. So!
